Mohan Ramamoorthy teaches Digital Journalism. Prior to teaching, he was a journalist for
nearly two decades with major media organizations in Delhi and Chennai.
Shalini Shah is the former Copy Director of Vogue India, where she was overseeing the print
magazine’s editorial content. Before that she has worked at The Hindu and The New Indian
Express. She writes on design, particularly fashion and textiles, and has a keen interest in
contemporary literary fiction and pop culture.

Sowmiya Ashok is a journalist reporting on politics, culture, and the environment for 13 years. She has
worked as a correspondent for two national dailies, The Hindu and The Indian Express. She has reported
from the US, China, Taiwan, and Sri Lanka. She writes about politics, culture, history and archaeology.

Anjana manages research projects at the ACJ having worked on topics such as misinformation/disinformation in the regional media, and the print media coverage of Covid impact on children. She coordinates the annual Digital News Report for India with the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism (RISJ). She worked in The Hindu for three years.
