ACJ Alumna Zeba Siddiqui, in Pulitzer Prize winning team

ACJ alumna of the Class of 2010-2011, Zeba Siddiqui, is part of a team of journalists who won the Pulitzer Prize in International Reporting this year (2019).

Zeba Siddiqui, who specialized in New Media at ACJ, was recruited at Reuters during campus placements in 2011 and has been working there ever since. She covered the Rohingya refugee crisis for Reuters from Bangladesh between 2017 and 2018. Zeba has been based in the New Delhi bureau of Reuters since February 2019.

Two of her colleagues, Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo, have been imprisoned in Myanmar since December 2017 for their reporting on the Pulitzer-winning series. Read more about their case here: https://www.reuters.com/subjects/myanmar-reporters
